Camp Promotions & High Adventure

Provides resources and other help to lodges in the area of camp promotions and coordinates section-wide camp and high adventure promotions.  Promotes OA and BSA High Adventure opportunities to all section members, and informs Arrowmen of opportunities to serve on staff for these events.

Courier

Publishes the section newsletter, The Courier, for every CoC meeting and at section conclaves as well as additional issues when necessary.

Awards

The Awards committee makes recommendations and changes to the George R. DeCourcy Memorial Award, passes out the applications at the January CoC meeting, coordinates and runs the competition and makes the presentation and the section conclave. Also, the Awards committee oversees the Dan Ling Service Award, which is presented at each section conclave to honor arrowmen who have given at least two years of service to our section. The selection meeting for this award is held at the spring CoC.

Indian Events

Promotes Indian ceremony, dance, competitions and learning experiences in the section and at the conclave.

Conclave Promotion

Works in conjunction with six lodge representatives to facilitate information from the Section level to the Lodges. The committee aims to increase overall attendence at Section Conclave through creative and unique promotional materials.
